Amazing food, very kind and great service, this place belongs in the pantheon of KC BBQ. Prepare to take your food to go as the dining area is only a couple of tables being used for people waiting for orders. Not a bad thing though and worth the trip no matter where you're coming from. Also, super cool guy that owns the place and happy to chat about his success. Great to see in old Quindaro.

I use to compete in BBQ contests. Smoking is not that hard, but perfection is always chased. I have never had a more tender, moist, and flavorful turkey leg in my life. Deep frying an injected turkey is really good, this was beyond that, absolutely fantastic. Look forward to trying his other offerings.

My sister has lived in Kansas City for a few years. It wasn't until I heard on the news that this man could put a whole Thanksgiving dinner in a turkey leg that I decided to come to Kansas City for the first time. So far I have had Turkey rib dinner, Lamb chop dinner and the Polish combo. And so far everything was worth the trip. But I will eat the whole menu before I go back home. The New York times definitely got it right.
